Happy Valentine's Day!!

The meal didn't look quite like that, but it was close. This restaurant is Brad's favorite Barbeque restaurant in Spartanburg, so we just had to go. It was sort of embarrassing, but pretty much everyone in the restaurant was kissing for 20 seconds, so it was sort of fun to watch all the different couples making out to get free food. I thought it was worth it!! Entertainment and a meal for free - who can beat that?!?

Brad and I don't really do the whole V-day thing (although by this post I'm sure you don't believe me). However I am going to surprise him tonight with a subscription to his favorite magazine. I'm not supposed to be getting him anything, but he mentioned it a few days ago and I really want to surprise him. I know he'll like it and it's the small things like that that really make marriage fun so I'm excited to give him the news tonight.

I know this is an older one, but I wish this was his first copy. If you don't know the awesome-ness that is Taylor Kitsch from "Friday Night Lights" then you need to introduce yourself this spring when the final season premieres on NBC. You can thank me later.



Besides Brad and Boomer, the other love of my life right now is this limited edition flavor of ice cream from Edy's. Usually I'm not an adventurous ice cream indulger. I usually stick with the tried and true vanilla or cookies and cream, but this stuff is crazy good. I love the Girl Scout's Samoa's cookies and so I thought I'd give the ice cream a try. It's amazing and it comes in a "light" version that is 1/2 the fat. If you like the Samoa's cookies then go grab a carton of this ice cream and you'll love it as well. I found mine at Target last week and I've almost eaten the entire thing which is an extreme rarity for me because usually I end up throwing away almost a full carton. Not this time! I don't like ice cream that has a lot of junk in it or if the chunks of whatever are too big and overpower the ice cream. This is really great because the pieces of cookie are pretty small and it really just has the perfect amount of the Samoan flavor. Love it!!
